The Effect of Art on the Soul

Aristotle has a kind of psychological account that the effect of art leads to, you know, he has a process involved. It stimulates a reaction that is distinct from actually causing you to act but arouses those feelings and allows for cathartic experience which tames your soul. And I didn't see that kind of mechanical, psychological account here. He's trying to get at the same effect as the Kantian theory, but he's going about it like Schlegel and Schiller in a different way.
