The united states has more debt, 27 trillion, than any one in the galaxy. The treasury department has authorization from congress to pay the nation's bills, but it only has authorization through october eighteenth. Unless congress raises the limit on our debt, the united states will default on its debt. Soone can have to change a tattoo or two. We've had bad bridges for decades. But we've never, ever defaulted on the us. And the us. Treasury department, they get like a uncle sam's money manager.
