Philip Guao is a professor of computer science at the University of Rochester in New York. He's been working with web to pie since 2011 when it first went online. Now he and his colleagues are re-architecting that system as more of a microservices model for the back end services. They're moving from web to pie over to flask, which they say works really well for that purpose.
