You Don't Have to Look Back, This Is Not About Looking Back

When the distinct amalgam of my history, including its traumas and wounds intersects with the renewing power of the spirit, a chemical reaction of possibility awaits that possibility is a calling. And so there are such unique possibilities that God wants to unleash in me, precisely because I have lived that history. That's right. None of this is about sort of wallowing in our past. It's instead receiving our past in God's grace as something that can launch new possibilities and living. This is not about looking back. This is about living forward.
