Mentoring Is All About Being Able to Have a Conversation
Mentorship and sponsorship is super important for men and women. We have to make sure women know that they have value, that their voices are important. And we have to sit at that table because our voices matter. It's also the case that men are afraid to be alone with a woman. You look at a man in a bar having a drink, two colleagues, on a trip, having a bar. What is that? Mentoring. Make one of those a woman, particularly make it an older man and a younger woman. Now what does it look like? Looks like dating. That's mentoring.
