The C Four, One, Four, and the Multi Pattern Mikes Are Really Cool
Multi pattern mikes, the ones that have the switchball polar patterns are really, really cool, i think. I generally recommend the stay away from a basic usb mike for music studio environment. Get yourself a couple of different types of studio headphones and get an open backs so you can use them both in your arsenal. It doesn't hurt to have a condenser dynamic microphone as well.
