The Isle of Barra and the Shetland Islands

Isle of Barra is a hebridean transport hub and the only one in the world where scheduled flights use a tidal beach for a runway that's why landing and taking off here is such an iconic beautiful and surreal experience barra to a tee. I've also been to the Orkney Islands which contains some of the oldest and best preserved Neolithic sites in Europe. The heart of Neolithic orkney is a designated UNESCO World Heritage site definitely a place for me to pop back to at some point. And then and then the Shetland Islands it's popularly said that the nearest train station is in Norway  I think Billy Connolly said isn't the nearest
