There's a command called filter branch, which is used for actually removing files from the it commit history as well. The file needs to around inside the objects directory in o original thing, the ten ambething. This is, again, like another reason whyi get stored in the rad ya ya and but it'lla so so the object's directory can grow quite a bit. And in fact, even like, it won't even garbage collect that. That's a purely local thing.
