I don't like to waste mental energy on what I'm eating. My appetite is fairly well regulated over the course of a week time frame where I might eat a little more than I need one day and it all kind of evens out over the course, weeks. But on a day to day basis my appetite is not that precise. It's maybe precise within 300 calories. And so if I'm going to eat enough let's let's say that my insomnia kicks in within a 200 calorie deficit. That means that there's a huge risk that I will not fall asleep because I ate 300 calories less than I needed but with staying closer to a caloric deficit or to my break-even point
