Pam got her first taste of guerilla filmmaking on a street off Hollywood Boulevard. The students talked about French film director Francois Truffaut and Swedish director Ingmar Bergman, names Pam had never heard before. They eventually made their getaway in the van and the cops never followed. After that night, Pam knew she couldn't give up on LA, not yet anyway.
