Saying No to Critical Race Theory

CHAPTER

Foucault's Critical Approach to Science

Foucault said it's a political process that determines who gets to determine what is true and false. Political processes imbued with biases that are inherently unfairly biased toward the dominant groups in society, he says. Foucault wasn't quite right about this but certainly the critical theorists weren’t quite right  about this according to John MacIntosh. We can actually get better answers to questions about the world if we know which methodologies matter not just by a political process even if politics have to touch itWe do so by a process that values asking the world the question and seeing what the world says and letting it answer for us say McIntosh.
