The Consequences of War

To ter into a just war, according to traditional doctrine, there must be a just cause. And the harms reasonably expected to is from warfare must not outweigh the harm that you're suffering presently. So it kind of gets to like, are the consequences? Would they be so, so awful that you shouldn't engage in war in that first place? That's interesting, because that's so subjective.
