If you have a word tray that means tree, with one group tray is going to turn into tree. But then in another group tray might turn into something like try. And then that becomes tra or something like that. So it's easy to see how over time a language might change. Some people think that in about 100 years we're only going to have four or 500 languages left out of the 6,000.
