Is There Such a Thing as Metaphysics?

The term metaphysics or ontology is an understanding of being in general. How do we understand the relationship between creator and creature? That to my mind, at least should be a theological metaphysic. It's something that's informed by the Christian faith. We all carry certain metaphysical assumptions with us. The assumption that those things are real comports well withChristian convictions.
