The Limits to Black Hole Size
There's an upper limit to how big a black hole can be. It cannot be bigger than the universe in which it is fun. Black holes event horizon scale up linear to mass, so if you have one that say one light year across then all you need to be a thousand light years across. The galactic core right would be there a thousand times the mass.
