"I think the little kid who grew up on very coherent albums is looking for something to make them meld in a way that feels you know narratively satisfying but then it doesn't need that really," he says. "One of the things he's so good at is like everything is super detailed but then you get these weird moments ... I find it really satisfying and also I guess because like loads of these pieces have like acoustic stuff but then big like quite braised and electronic keys sound which is like a huge part of those records as well"
