How to Prioritize Tech Items

I try to involve both the more product related teams and the tech teams from as early as possible, also in the prioritization phase. So it's really tricky when you show up to the tech team with the shopping list of things that need to be done and add it to their roadmap. It can really feel like you are just bringing extra work and disrupting their workflow there. I think one of the things we actually did, which works quite well, is that we have a feature owner on the tech side as well for each project or feature that we work on.
