The NHS's Slowness to Acknowledge Scandals Like This
I think sadly, there's a long history of the NHS trying to avoid acknowledging scandals like this. We've seen it particularly through multiple maternity scandals which have only come to light many, many years later. It is very hard to be a whistle-blower in the NHS because it's a culture of closing ranks where there is resistance to acknowledging anything that could lead to a compensation bill. And Barry, do you think we're finally getting towards a point of closure after this whole sad affair? Oh, well, my faith in government has been shaken over the decades. So, you know, I'll believe it when I see it.
