The Military Establishment and the Never Trumpers

The founders understood that militaries are at some level sort of aristocratic and obedience, you obey orders. They put the whole military establishment subordinate to the civilian elected by the people because they feared what happens. And part of this might be because we've gone over to an all volunteer force, which sort of made the service agencies kind of like businesses or corporate offices with employees.
