What's the Challenge for Young People From Working Class Backgrounds in the Arts?
Oliver, Oliver Lomax and David O'Brien talk about the findings of their report. What challenges do young people from working class backgrounds facing entering the arts? I think it's huge for them at the moment - they have really authentic voices that deserve to be heard,. But it becomes increasingly difficult for them to be creative. They are fortunate because they're writing but then where does it go from there? That's where economic features really punish them.
