The Power of Dreams
Hillman argues that by making the dream image about us, we may actually be hurting ourselves. He makes it clear that anything that's happening to us often is not about us and that we are trying to fit it into the narrow confines of our ego. The underworld aspect of each complex where it touches death is also where psyche is in the unchanging essence and where soul can be refound. If as Jung said, modern man is in search of a soul, this soul is partly lost in life.
