You mentioned those three maxims that know thyself i swear i've asked uh i'm not sure if i asked you but i've asked a number of of guests on the show of you know can we know ourselves. I think for Socrates in a sense know thyself has to do with overcoming double ignorance and being able to really perceive what your assumptions are and noticing the contradictions in your thinking. The most common one is of it's hard it's a hard thing to call, he says.
