You need to be competent with the skilled movement under cardi respiratory demand, breathing heart under metabolic demand. Just being stronger though in that moment doesn't actually solve the movement problem. And so suddenly we can, what's really great about viewing the training of shapes is that it allows you to have permission to do what you like to do. You should be able to handle dumbbells or Pilates class and transfer those skills back and forth.
