The Importance of Average Arrival Rates
The idea that you can plug numbers in to little's law and get some kind of actual useful information out of it is a number one, a complete fallacy in our world. So what this is saying is in order for little's law math to be true, okay, your average. Now it's not exact, right? It is an average because of little's laws of relationship of averages that the average arrival rate is always equal to your average departure rate. If it's any time, not the same, then the math doesn't work. And every back I looked at violates that assumption. Every product owner in our space, every product manager knows the requests are coming in, pick a number
