Lithium is an alkali metal ion that affects the brain. There are alkine metal irons like sodium and potassium that may compete with lithium or interact in some interesting ways when they hve a bunch of links. They would like to do testing to figure out if there are high levels of lithium in any of the stuff that we're eating. Our food is not regularly tested for lithium, so breaking down what people often eat and how much lithium isn't each thing could give valuable insights.
