The Importance of Front of Package Labelling
The food standards and safety authority of India, FSSCI, has been discussing bringing in front of package labelling. All the brands will need to show right at the front of the package, whether the food is high in fat, sugar and so on. Do you think this is an important step to educate consumers? "Yes, very important because it's exactly ties in with what I was saying earlier that we already have its compulsory for all foods to label," he says.
