Beethoven began to give public performances in 17 78, when he was just seven years old. He produced his first published work at the age of just 12, known as the dresser variations. And while mozart was a young kid, he was writing piece after piece after piece of music. But beethoven had quite enough to deal with it without worrying about becoming the towering musical figure that he is to day.
