In 90% of cases, the entering manager is responsible for managing people. So we do touch upon managing people, but i tend not to focus on it too much. And so the next part that i include is talking about managing the system. This is where you should have a better sense about what practises and set ups work really well for you. The final section that i do cover is personal - learning how to manage yourself. It's a four hour course, and it covers a lot of these light touch but hopefully gives people sense about a good balance of things.
