I Don't Believe in Ordinary Prayer
Reformed theologians have held to the view that god's providence is so complete and detailed that everything that happens in the world is unconditionally decreed by god. So if theological determinism is true, then it seems as though petitionr prayer can't persuade god to bring about one state of affairs over another. But for those people, i think it's worth while sort of exploring what other accountsof prayers might be available.
