Philippe: There are things that you're not going to be able to control in your life, but you can certainly control the thoughts that are coming in. He says it's okay to have 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Philippe: If I've got a negative thought that comes in and I catch it and I'm like, okay, hold on a second. Let me focus on a more positive aspect of the context of that thought. And so now there's a choice and a decision about, okay, well, let me see how I'm going to approach this now that I have a little more neuroplasticity.
