Weather and Climate Are Two Very Different Things
Weather and climate are two very different things. Weather is what happens today or tomorrow or this week; climate is the combined long-term average of weather events. Scientists look at climate in terms of fixed 30-year periods. Envisioning climate, in contrast, is much more low resolution. Some scientists think that eventually it could be possible to determine which specific weather events are influenced by climate change.
