The Comic Book Stunt Treadmill of the 90s

I feel like Avengers Endgame was the death of Superman. And then they were just like, what's next? Batman breaks his back. So every few months we get something's going to collapse the universe and whatever. But it's got to the point where it's like, you can't get me to care about this. I think Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is proof of that. If they keep doing stuff like this, they are very much in danger of that becoming the MCU.
