The Ministry of Isaiah: Trust in the Lord, Not in Human Power
The years of the Ministry of Isaiah were years of mortal threat for Judah. They faced both the alliance of the northern kingdom of Israel and Aram, and then the rising power of Assyria. The message of Isaiah was to hold steady, to trust in the Lord, rather than in human power.
