Web3: Decentralization of the Protocol Stack

Web3 is decentralizing the full protocol stack so that it's decentralized all the way down to the layer of the server infrastructure itself, right? So a lot of people are calling this like Web2.5 because there are some apps that are out there right now where a piece of their app is decentralized but they're still centralized. The other thing you can do with this is I could take some message that I'm going to put out into the world publicly and I can create a signature based on that message using my private key to decrypt it. And anyone in the world can mathematically prove that it came from you.
