Why Are More White Blood Cells Coming?

More white blood cells are coming. They're here to make sure the whole area gets cleaned up and to fight any bacteria that might have come in from the cuddle. White blood cells will even get rid of the broken pipes, the damaged blood vessels, and any broken skin cells. All those extra cells working in one place are the reason an injury can get all red and swollen and warm. It's called inflammation. After an injury, white blood cells tell the fibroblasts to get busy, making all the materials to build new skin.
