Mike Verbiglia has been working for NPR since he was 19 years old. He started a new show and found the funding himself with WBEZ in Chicago. The person in charge of acquiring programming for NPR just did not like the show or get the show. "I have things that I cringe about, but I don't think I want to talk about any of them"
