Are They Teaching Me That Complexity Matters?

Teenagers are really good at pointing out hypocrisy. I think one of the things they're teaching me is to trust that they can handle complexity and that complexity is important. We sometimes come up with these really simple ways of saying, you know, this is right or can you believe that person did that? They're a horrible person. And so they're Teaching me that instead of just going to the quick soundbite, to really look at the context and look at the details.
