BCG is the vaccine for TB. It was developed by Calmette and Gehrre who were two French microbiologists. Most countries in the world used it at one point and now the vast majority still use it. The efficacy of BCG is dependent on geography, so people who live near the equator are less likely to be vaccinated than those further away from the equator.
