Can I Please Never Be a Guest?
The chat show is taped in the old BBC Donut Building. It's not a policy to encourage guests to drink, but it seems polite if they do. If you're ill or an antibiotics I will have apple juice just so the guests think I am drinking. The glass of wine you see on the show is the glass of wine I carry on to set. So it's literally a prop, but it's also a nice little comfort thing.
