How Do I Give Fibrinogen to an Obstetrical Patient?

Pregnant women who have fibrinogens below two when they're starting to bleed are much more likely to progress to a severe postpartum hemorrhage. So always try and hit two and above throughout your resuscitation. For those of you that are in a country where you cryoprecipitate still, four grams of fibrinogen concentrates about the same as 10 units of cryopRecipitate. All right, we'll have all the cutoffs and dosing in the show notes. But I want to talk a little bit more aboutfibrinogen in terms of the obstetrical patient.
