The Role of Stride in Running Performance

With running, we can develop a basic profile and figure out very generally what percentage of your threshold power you should be able to hold for a certain distance. We have our own internal table that we kind of shared out as well as the sort of the stride, race planning table. And then with, you know, looking at their power duration curve, looking at training data and just knowing the athlete, you can give a better target. So it really comes down to what type of runner are you? Are you a speed demon or you are endurance type of runner? Because then your fatigue, how much you will fatigue over different distances will change.
