The Bulgarian Government's Veto Power on Kosovo-Kosubo
I think it is in the interest of the whole region that Kosovo and Serbia find a solution. Russia has been using its position and interest in this issue to basically widen the Russian influence in the Balkans. Bulgarian nationalists have always stated that they would veto any move to include North Macedonia within the EU. I really think that the best way to deal with the bilateral relationship is by talking to a neighbour rather than looking constantly for ways to punish him. So why would Pekkov choose to back Ukraine even when it was detrimental to his political career?
