The Importance of Collaboration in Science

The system doesn't always reward collaborations as much as it does like competitiveness and out-competing others that's valued way more than collaboration. Even if you do collaborate with someone, you're collaborating with someone to beat someone else is collaboration. That's just how science is built. And I have realized that I don't like that about the system.
