What Was New Womanhood Through the Analysis of War Time Nurses?
I'm really fascinated by this idea of giving titles as a way of gaining authority and respect. I tried my best to enter that mind set and see that the women petitioning to go into a military nursing position really wanted to prove their metal. Also most saliently, i would say, in the stories of military nurses and civilian nurses. There was enough evidence in the sources to suggest that civilian nurses were jealous the military nurses because the military nurses were having bigger adventures. And you have to understand too, like the sort of you you do as the daughter of a nurse, the kind of personality that's attracted to that kind of field is someone who really wants to do dramatic things.
