The Rock That Will Make People Fall
The Bible is allowed to use the metaphor of a rock in multiple ways to mean different things. Ultimately remember this, the church is built by Christ. He says about St. Peter, you are rock and upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
