Surgical repair options are kind of tailored to an individual's anatomy and include routing of the blood from the SVC or IVC to the left atrium either directly, or through a bathful. In a warden procedure, the cardiac side of the SVC is cut above the level of the entrance of most superior anomalous pulmonary vein.
