Toothless Is a Very Different Story

Hiccup is kind of a sensitive underdog. It's only until the very end that they're really put to the test when a hostile dragon comes to their shores and it's hiccup and his little dragon toothless that deal with the threat. Was it always conceived as a three-parter? No in fact like I said there were about 15 months left to release. We weren't thinking about anything beyond that.
