I think 's a real place for this lean data approach. Othe three year, randomize, controlled approach has its place. But honestly, and this is speaking of someone who is very involved with financ and scientific studies. It's not the right tool for all jobs. And particularly when you are outside of a laboratory with lots of uncontrolled variables,. it's just trying to hammer screws a lot of the time.

Jacqueline Novogratz (@jnovogratz) is the founder and CEO of Acumen.
