The Importance of Women in Church
I think the Jewish faith holds women in such a regard and opens a lot of doors for nuance and conversations about gender roles. Are there any books that you would recommend as starting places? I'd rather be a woman in this framework than to be told you can't have intimate friendships. All your relationships are going to be superficial. You can't have a relationship with God that's found on prayer. And so it gave me a picture of a more complete human experience than the binaries allow for both sides. There is a way of being in the world that's better for everyone, including white man.
