A lot of environmental groups want to create maps and go get things designated. Two thirds of our endangered and threatened species use private land for the majority of their habitat. 900 million acres in America are ranch and farmland, 445 million acres is private forest land. This is an extreme amount of habitat that I call invisible conservation.
